Not getting notifications when items are created from API
Hello Community I am using Make to create ToDo items. It works great and items are created according to the required logic. However, I am not getting any notifications when items are created in that way. The items are inserted into a shared list. No issues if an item is created by other list members, getting a notification straight away. Using Android 14 on Pixel 5. ToDo version - 2.139.930.00 Build #382 Cheers!8Views0likes0CommentsMS To Do: Recurring Task Steps show Complete
When a recurring task with multiple steps is completed, the steps in the new version of the task often retain the same state as when it was last completed. For example, if a task has five steps and three are marked as complete before marking the task as complete, the next day, when the task recurs, those three steps remain marked as completed. However, if the steps are marked as complete, another task is accessed, and then the original task is revisited before marking it complete, the steps will most often show as incomplete when the task recurs.12Views0likes0CommentsMS To Do: Always Maximum Volume
The volume for Microsoft To Do regularly resets to the maximum level, despite a daily ritual of setting it to around 25% every morning. This is annoying, as I usually start up my home office earlier than the rest of the household. Typical day: Open To Do; Check off the first item; Completion bell rings throughout the house; Open the toolbar volume control; Open volume mixer; Reduce the volume of To Do. Next day: repeat. All other apps maintain their volume settings.8Views0likes0CommentsTo Do Tasks not Showing in Outlook Calendar
I am in a two person office, and we are using To Do for task management. My partner is having an odd problem. She has logged into our desktop Microsoft office suite and into To Do using the same microsoft credentials; we can see the task list from To Do from within her Outlook at the Tasks Tab;, but the tasks are not showing up in the Task Window we opened her calendar. Mine works fine. The tasks we are trying to popoulate are in a To Do tasklist that we share between us.53Views0likes0CommentsSync with Outlook Calendar
Greetings, I’m using an iPad 10th gen with Outlook for iOS. What I want to know is if its possible to sync To Do tasks that were assigned to me in My Day. I seem to do everything that I need but I cant manage to see them in my calendar. We are using this system to make a big pool of tasks that we need to do around the shops and sometimes when our regular duties are done, we could pick some tasks in the pool, assign them to the correct workers and then it would appear in their calendar so other people can see that they are already doing something in the Day. I’m sorry if its hard to understand as I’m not a native English speaker. My first language is french so dont hesitate to ask for more information if you need some. Thank you and have a good day.29Views0likes0CommentsOutlook: Tasks of Exchange account not showing in To-Do List
Good Day, I got forwarded to this community and hope to find some help here. I'm having an issue with a single user (I'm an administrator in our organisation) where in Outlook, the tasks listed in the user's own Exchange account don't seem to show up in the To-Do List (in Outlook). The ones the user created within their private Hotmail account which they've added in Outlook appear without any issues. Affected seem to be only the ones the user created within the Exchange account. In the filter settings of the To-Do List (View > View Settings > Filter), there does not seem to be any filter active that may be filtering out the tasks from the Exchange account. We are using Exchange On-Prem and standalone Office (Office 2019, Office 2021, etc.), although the Office version doesn't seem to make a difference, as adding the affected user's Exchange account to my Office/Microsoft 365 installation seems to have the same effect. In Microsoft Admin Center, the user has the respective license (A1) to use To-Do (Plan 2) and the To-Do function is active for the user. I don't know where else to look and some help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and Best Regards, Lukas33Views0likes0CommentsLack of functionalities for the new To Do app
Hi, Why the new To Do app does not have some key functionalities that the old version had, like 1) being able to create new Views 2) being able to select multiple tasks and move them in one go to another date 3) see flagged e-mails and tasks in one list 4) add columns ... Difficult to understand that Microsoft develops a new app that is worse that the old one.22Views1like0CommentsTask due dates/reminders
After selecting "Set reminder son tasks with due dates" I created a test task and the reminder did not automatically set. Why is this? When I set a task/reminder (can't figure out the difference between the two but have tried both) I want the reminder to automatically set for that day at 8am.11Views0likes0CommentsFor a multi-person (shared) To Do list, can the same categories be shared on each person's list?
Using a shared To Do list with 2 people. Is there a way that 1 person can label with a category and the other person can see it? The categories I place on the shared list do not show on the list of the other individual I share the list with. I know the category comes from my calendar but we share calendar access. I need both of us to be able to see what category each task has been assigned. If not, is there any other way to organize a to do list except prioritized vs not prioritized?23Views0likes0CommentsShared To Do List - can you assign reminders/notifications?
We have a shared To Do list with myself and the executive I support (exec items only). When I add items to her To Do list, assign the Task to her, and set a Reminder for notification, this notification is not updating on her end/view, and she is not receiving the reminders. When you set a reminder for a Task, if it's assigned to a specific person, is there a way to ensure the reminder is pushed to them (her), and not the person who added the item to the To Do List (me)? Thank you!68Views0likes0CommentsArchive To-Do Lists
As a Microsoft Outlook user since 1999, I have accumulated significant to-dos - all cataloged by year under one group [History] in the To-Do App. Unfortunately, the sheer volume of these to-do's has made syncing on the iPhone and Mac iOS (apps) cumbersome and very slow. How may I transfer the prior years [History] to an archive where the syncing becomes more agile and yet allows me to search for historical to-do's if needed? Thank you in advance for any guidance.33Views0likes0CommentsIssue with Auto-Deleting Tasks in Microsoft To Do
Since this morning, I have been experiencing an issue with my Microsoft To Do account. Random tasks seem to be auto-deleting, and I am unable to locate them anywhere in the app except for the "Deleted Items" section. I have checked every possible location within the app, but I cannot find these tasks, and they do not appear in the deleted items either. Could you please assist me in resolving this issue? I would appreciate it if you could guide me on how to retrieve these missing tasks or help identify any settings that may be causing this behavior. Looking forward to your prompt response and assistance. Thank you for your time and support.32Views0likes0CommentsHow do I link a ToDo list to a Chat (NOT a Team's Channel)
Hi, In a Microsoft Teams Channel, you can set up the Lists app or install the Planner app to track tasks. However, I have a chat with my boss (not a Teams Channel), and we want to track our to-dos or tasks. For some reason, I can't install the Lists or Planner app in our chat. When I click on the "+" sign at the bottom, the apps I mentioned above aren't showing up. Vipul15Views0likes0CommentsSynchronization with calendar and time estimation for planned/scheduled tasks
Missing for planned/scheduled tasks is a field with the time estimate and an option to synchronize them with the calendar. It would be very interesting to see everything on your calendar and to apply some productivity techniques.13Views0likes0CommentsDue date shifts one day back from original entry
According to various past posts [ https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook_com/forum/all/due-dates-in-tasks-changes-to-the-day-prior/23e6168f-7eab-4219-92e9-82130788d28b ], the due date in the To Do grid view shifts back one day compared to the original due date entered, which continues to show correctly in list view. Has this been fixed ? In the downloaded version of To Do, there is no grid view, only the list view. However, when using an Outlook email account in the Emclient desktop email app, the due date does slip back one day on the Emclient recurrence form, but not on the Emclient task list. This implies that something in the Microsoft To Do software is still shifting the due date back by one day under some conditions. I am not on 365, so I cannot test whether 365 still shifts the grid view due date back by one day, compared to the original and correct list view date. Can someone on 365 check this out?9Views0likes0CommentsSynchronisation of ToDo
