Disable auto-scroll in calendar view
Can you disable autoscroll in calendar view? What a horrible feature. Every time the mouse cursor is near the top or bottom of the page, it auto-scrolls all the way up or all the way down. It seems to only happen when selecting a calendar item, and if you have "view-only" access to the calendar, you cannot click in the empty space of the calendar to unselect items because you cannot create new items, so auto-scroll is always active. What other Microsoft application has auto-scroll like this? If it can't be a toggled option, it should just be removed entirely.32KViews25likes45Comments"Some error occurred" message

We have faculty members that have been looking for a solid tool that will allow them to post a calendar online of their office hours and let students sign up. Currently many of them are still resorting to a piece of paper outside of their office door. In doing some research I discovered that Microsoft launched a tool called Bookings back in July (https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Say-hello-to-Microsoft-Bookings-47403d64-a067-4754-9ae9-00157244c27d), but from what I can tell it isn't slated for Education. This has so many use cases for teachers, I can't understand why they wouldn't make it available.2.6KViews11likes5CommentsScheduling Policy - Limit number of bookings per customer per day
Currently, we are in the situation where same customer is booking multiple time slots back-to-back (same day) for the same service. Our only solution is to manually cancel multiple bookings. As part of scheduling policy settings, it would be great if we could limit the number of bookings for a same customer/service pair. E.g. User A is booking 1h for a service A and 1h for a service B on the same day - that would be OK; while User A is booking 1h for a service A and 1h for a service A on the same day would not be possible.11KViews11likes12CommentsBooking events not appearing on Apple Calendar
Cross posting from an Apple Support community post here. Seems that when an event is created on my Outlook/M365 calendar at work, it never appears on my Apple Calendar for that account. All other events are sync'ing up just fine and show as any other event. This seems to be an issue on the current version of MacOS Calendar for Ventura and on Big Sur. Anyone else having issue with Booking events not appearing in their Apple Calendar?Solved7.6KViews10likes10CommentsAuto populating customer details in Bookings
Hi, I am working with someone who is using bookings for internal use only, so to access the bookings calendar a user must have their 365 logon prior to the page. In this case, is it possible for the "customer" details to be auto-filled, rather than them having to fill in names and email addresses? At the moment they still have to fill in details even though bookings has allowed them to access the site (so knows they are a 365 user account). Anyone know if this can be done? thanks8.5KViews10likes14CommentsBookings shows available time slots even though it is booked in my calendar
I created a personal booking page. But I do not see the time slots displayed in my calendar and when I go to the booking page, all time are available completely not taking into account the meetings that are already in my calendar. Why in the name of god would you ever design a self booking function that does not look at existing meetings in the target calendar. Worked with google self scheduler and calendly and this is absolutely a non existing problem for both of these platforms. Now transitioned to 365 and I can't seem to get a simple feature as a self scheduler set up :( Attached a screenshot of all the available configuration options. So 2 questions: - I want to see the blocks in my calendar (attached an example of google self scheduler how it shows up in your calendar - it completely ignores meetings in my calendar and lets people book those slots leading to double bookings. Please help me out.472Views9likes13CommentsA way to set maximum number of bookings per day
Hi, I currently have one service I offer in my Bookings but want to set it so that I only do a maximum of say 4 of that service in a day. On Gemini, Copilot, and another Microsoft forum post there's instructions to "go to the "Booking page" tab in the Microsoft Bookings app, select the service you want to limit, and then click on the "Edit" button. From there, you can set the maximum number of bookings per day for that service." or "Go to the Booking page tab in Bookings. Select the service you want to limit. Click "Edit" and set the "Maximum number of bookings per day." but when I got to edit my service, I only see these options, nothing about a maximum number of bookings option:1.6KViews9likes1CommentThis link is not valid. for Bookings

Our office just switched to Office 365. I'm used to using calendar/booking software like Calendly etc. I find it easier to send people a booking link than to try to coordinate between multiple people. I need to send a booking link to an external customer but I need the available times to book to be where there is overlap between multiple staff members, and for when the booking is made, it alerts these multiple staff. For instance, I am trying to set up a meeting with an external client, my boss, and myself. I want the external client to be able to only book times that my boss and I are both available, and when they book I want it to include both my boss and myself in the booking. I tried to set up a booking and turned off the "choose staff" option, but instead of booking both of us, it only booked one of us. Is it possible to do what I want to do in the MS booking app?88KViews9likes34CommentsChanging Maximum Number of Attendees back to 1
I changed the maximum number of attendees from 1 to 5. It won't let me now change it back to 1. The lowest it will go is 2. I have tried "Inspect Element" to change the min number from 2 to 1. This allows me to use the down arrow feature to lower it to be 1. However, the change won't save and it reverts back to 2. Also using inspect element to change the number directly to 1 also doesn't work.Solved31KViews9likes15CommentsPre fill a bookings form with URL values
Hello, I would like to send a customer a bookings request (thought an automated system) with GET parameters specified in the URL to pre fill the bookings form with some data (like name and address). In my case, I am also trying to prefill a custom field. Something like this: https://bookingssite.com/whatever/?email=user@domain.com&customfield1=myticket#. The net result would be the email is prefilled along with the ticket#.10KViews8likes9CommentsStop emailing random people in my name!
I went into the "book with me" feature to attempt to fix its broken behavior (allowing meetings outside my normal work time -- another stupid bug that I'm not even talking about now). I updated my meeting profiles with explicit work hours and hit save. I have no idea what would cause this, but some step in this process caused TEN random people I correspond with to be sent a "Book time with me without back-and-forth discussions" email in my name. This is ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. No feature in any product should silently sent emails in my name to anyone, let alone ten randomly chosen people I work with! I am apopleptic right now! This insane piece of garbage "feature" emailed the head of my department as well as the facilities department service account, so now I have a facilities ticket and a stack of confused people asking why I want to meet. I had to find these in my sent folder and reply to each apologizing and asking them to disregard. I hope the product manager or developer of this feature reads this: Your idea is bad and a complete embarrassment. Stop work immediately and find someone who actually knows how professionals in a business environment operate. They will inform you that nothing and no-one should send a message in person's name without clear and explicit authorization, and even with that authorization, never to randomly chosen people. I've never posted here before, because none of the myriad Microsoft bugs I've dealt with have ever screwed me over so stupidly and so publically. I will certainly never trust a new Outlook feature again.2.7KViews7likes12CommentsAppointments on the half hour are no longer showing on my booking page
As of this morning any appointments that should be available are not showing on my booking page. All the appointments on the hour are showing fine, all the appointments on the half hour are not showing and are therefore not bookable. The appointments on the half hour were showing fine up until today, and some clients have managed to book appointments on the half hour previously. My appointment duration is set to 1hr and time increments are set to 1hr. Staff hours vary and are very specific, so some staff have availability entered as such: 9am-10am, 10am-11am, 11am-12pm. These appointments are showing fine and are bookable by clients. Other staff have availability entered as 9:30am-10:30am, 10:30am-11:30am, 11:30am-12:30pm, etc. and none of these appointments are showing on the booking page. I have tried changing the time increments to 30mins, but this does not work for us as it allows clients to book appointments on the half hours where we do not wish them to. I have also tried (as another poster suggested worked for them) changing the appointment duration to 59mins instead of 1hr, but it did not solve the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.11KViews7likes43CommentsAdding Private Booking in Book With Me- Links redirect to public booking page.
I've attempted several times to create private meetings in Bookings With Me. Each link is redirected to my public meeting space and only public meetings are visible. I have deleted all meetings, switched between public and private, unpublished and republished my page. Creating only a private meeting with zero public will still redirect to the public page with the message "No public meetings are available" "The user is not accepting any public meetings through the booking page right now. Please contact them directly or check back here later."11KViews7likes34Comments
