Video Layout- show all participants
When we have a video call my team can see everyone on the call however I can only see the person actively talking during the call. I would like to be able to see all participants (we are a group of 3) at the same time. Anyone know how to change this?Solved1.8MViews7likes46CommentsVIEW ALL PARTICIPANTS IN VIDEO MEETING
We have 8 people on a daily video meeting in Teams. Default setup gives 3 or 4 video screens and then rest only appear as small icons in the bottom corner. We need it so all 8 can be seen with the member speaking being a larger window and the others still visible in video, but in smaller tiles. (similar to how it looks in Zoom) Is it possible to reconfigure settings?Solved1.5MViews40likes199CommentsCustom Background Images for Teams Meetings
Teams allows you to use a set of images selected by Microsoft as the background for meetings. It’s a nice feature, even if it lacks the ability to upload and use a custom image of your own. This capability was promised, but it looks as if Microsoft knows they need to some work on admin framework before they allow people to upload their own images. https://office365itpros.com/2020/04/06/teams-meeting-background-image/Solved1.3MViews8likes97CommentsTeams Polls - Where are the results (by name of respondent)?
I've created a Poll (via Forms) as a post in a channel for my Team. The card created for the poll states, "Results are visible to everyone; Names recorded", however, I cannot for the life of me figure out who submitted responses - can't find where these names are recorded. Anyone know how to get this info? Otherwise it's just a completely anonymous poll. Using the Teams Calendar function: Before a meeting is started, there is a need to add invitees to an existing meeting. Is there way to add the invitee so only the new invitee receives the invitation. Currently, when this function is attempted, all of the invites receive the meeting invitation. If you use Outlook Calendar, it gives you the option to update only the new invitees or all invitees. I would appreciate any assistance you can provide. Thanks.Solved1.2MViews1like32CommentsMS Teams Select Background outside of conference call
Is there a way in MS Teams to change or 'try on' different backgrounds before or without starting a new meeting? I have been able to upload backgrounds and test them during conference calls, but have not been able to view them outside of meetings.Solved1.1MViews12likes39CommentsMissing presence status in Outlook
A couple of users don't see any presence status from Teams within Outlook. The checkbox within Teams is ticked but the option in Outlook is greyed out. It's working at half of the users (option in Outlook is available and ticked) and at the other half of the users it's not working. Any ideas? Thanks in advanceSolved934KViews0likes24CommentsTeams chat - where is it saved and how can I access it?
Good Morning, We are in the process of transitioning to MS Teams and will be looking to sunset the Skype app within our environment. At present our Incident Management (IM) team who is provisioned to us via IBM use skype to conduct any group chats relating to major incidents that are affecting 100+ users. I am trying to move the IM team across to MS Teams and away from skype but one of the sticking points is the conversation history in Teams. The exact question I have been asked is - "...currently our chats auto save to the conversation history folders in outlook meaning we can easily go back and find conversations we have had should we need to check what was said on an incident etc, as far as I know Teams does not do this...…" After further conversation with one of the incident managers I ran a webex and showed them how Teams works in relation to setting up groups and setting up chat groups with specific people for specific incidents that occur. The manager was pretty much sold on the benefit of Teams but there is just that snagging point of where conversation history is stored. Its great that we can have chat groups but considering that our IM team deal with 200+ incidents a year the amount of chat groups being created in Teams will get quite heavy. Its not a simple matter of going back to a particular chat group setup for a particular incident only to discuss another incident - we need to keep chat for each incident separate in which case we need to be able to have the chat and then it saves automatically to a location and should be easily accessible. Once an Incident has been resolved we can then close off the chat so that Teams does not become bogged down with many chat groups whilst still having access to the conversation history of each and every chat. Is anyone else facing this dilemma? Is there anyone from MS that can advise on this?Solved867KViews10likes12CommentsWhat´s the reason that I can´t delete chats

We have a large number of users reporting that when they launch Teams or try to join a meeting in Teams they encounter an error message that states either "We ran into a problem. Try again in a few minutes" or "We ran into a problem...Reconnecting...". Screenshots attached. - This happens both on the company network and on VPN while at home. - All PCs are running Windows 10 1809 - Issue occurs on multiple Dell laptop models Things we have tried: Sign out of Teams and sign back in (defaults to UPN@domain.com) Sign out of Teams and sign back in with the full email address instead of UPN@domain.com (example: "firstname.lastname@domain.com" instead of "UPN@domain.com") This seems to have temporarily worked for some of the users that attempted this workaround on 9/14 Uninstall/Reinstall the Teams desktop app Clear Teams cache in %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams Uninstall/Update Teams mobile app Clear cached credentials in Credential Manager Update drivers/BIOS Any input or advise would be much appreciated!772KViews6likes55Commentscalendar missing in teams

How can I add additional background images in Teams? I'm using both apps, one for personal use and one for work. I need to add new background effect to the teams for personal use but there isn't a button for that. I also tried accessing the images via a folder `%APPDATA%\Microsoft\Teams\Backgrounds` but there are only images from the work version of Teams. So how should I add new image to the personal one? Where are background images for that version stored?755KViews0likes16CommentsChat button missing in a Teams Meeting?
Howdy, We had a Teams Meeting with around 150 people and a bunch of people didn't have the Chat button to click in the action bar to open the side panel. I had the issue and accidentally left the meeting and went back in and then I had the button. After the meeting was over, lots of people reported they didn't have the chat button so they couldn't submit questions to the meeting. Does anyone know if this is a known issue or why it might have happened and if there's a way to make it not happen again? 🙂 Thanks.Solved753KViews11likes43CommentsNot able to see Background Effects in Microsoft Teams
