Hello, I have run into a problem of not having a full access to meeting options. I would like to schedule meetings for other people in the office where I do not necessarily have to attend. I would also like to assign other people as co-hosts so that they are able to admit people and have more control of the meeting. There should be settings of being able to let people come in without waiting in the waiting room as well, but I cannot seem to find it anywhere. Here is the attached screenshot: These are the only two options I get when clicking "Meeting Options". Additionally, whenever I set up a meeting, some people are not able to respond to it because they get an error of undeliverable response: "delivery has failed to these recipients or groups". What is the issue here? Does it have to do with how Outlook is set up? How can I change these limitations and errors? Thank you so much!18Views0likes0CommentsUpgrade from Free to Teams
Hello I have an email email address removed for privacy reasons that was part of a family Office 365 subscription with free teams. I then create a number of appointments for people I also have a business basic plan for email address removed for privacy reasons with a standard Teams license which I want to use, so I can have a phone plan. I now have two teams account for email address removed for privacy reasons one that is personal and the other which is the business account. I remove email address removed for privacy reasons from the Office 365 subscription So with teams, now I get two accounts for email address removed for privacy reasons, one that is personal , one that is business If I log onto teams with the business, I can see my calendar appointments created with the free edition, but I cant join them. Is there a way, to be able to transfer the organiser to my business account (although its the same email address) or a way to use the same links from the free edition in the business edition. Any help gratefully received Best Wishes Rob6Views0likes0CommentsMicrosoft Imposes 1-Year Retention for Teams Meeting Attendance Reports
Microsoft has enabled a one-year retention policy for Teams meeting attendance reports. Tenants can’t opt out of the policy or set a different retention period. Microsoft says that the new policy exists to make sure that Teams complies with the Microsoft privacy policy. Another way of looking at the situation is that the new policy will simply remove some old data that no one ever looks at. https://office365itpros.com/2025/03/11/attendance-report-retention-policy/26Views0likes0CommentsRandom message saying Q&A enabled sent to co-organisers only on Town Hall event.
Hi all, just had an update message sent to my co-organisers, stating that Q&A had been enabled. The event has been set up and published for a week, with no amendments to the event at any time. Is there a reason for this, it seems to coincide with our companies Windows 11 roll-out. Thanks 1081JB9Views0likes0CommentsAuto Attendant Call Forwarding: How to Mask Caller ID for External Transfers
Hello everyone, I have a question about the configuration of the Auto Attendant. A brief explanation of the problem: I am currently creating a hotline for one of our business units. A routing point of the Auto Attendant should be that the number 3 is forwarded to the specified external number by pressing a key. Everything works as it should. Now comes the problem: This number, to which the call is then forwarded, is the location of an attendant console (AC-Win system) of our Hipath4000 telephone system of one of our receptions. This can display which hotline the caller is currently coming from. This requires the Auto Attendant to remove the number of the actual caller when forwarding and to forward the call in the context of another predefined number. Is it possible to realize this? Via caller ID policies or something similar? Best regards Elias16Views0likes0CommentsTownhall meetings unable to disable attendee response
Hi, Is there a way to disable the email notification response for when attendees accept/decline the townhall meeting? I know I can disable the email entirely but this option prevents me from adding a distribution list or attendees directly into the townhall meeting setup in teams. Is adding a link to the townhall meeting and putting it in a seperate outlook calendar meeting the only option to not get the response from the meetings? Why is this not disabled by default? Townhall meetings are meant for large numbers of attendees. Nobody wants 800+ notification emails in their inbox. Please let me know if there is another way to do this.19Views1like0CommentsHow to use the new Resize function in Teams
Users is now able to reduce the main Teams window, the chat window, and the meeting stage to 360px wide or 502px wide, compared to the current minimum supported dimensions of 720px wide, with no loss of functionality. #Teams #MicrosoftTeams #Productivity #MPVbuzz #Microsoft36587Views0likes0CommentsExploring AI-Powered Workflows for Enhanced Productivity
As technology advances, we’re seeing more seamless integrations between hardware and AI-driven software solutions. Many professionals now rely on high-performance computing setups to manage complex workflows, whether in data analysis, creative design, or software development. However, with increasing workloads, optimizing our devices for better efficiency and adaptability is becoming a key focus. One trend that stands out is the rise of smart laptop solutions that leverage AI enhancements for workflow optimization. Features like adaptive performance tuning, intelligent cooling, and predictive battery management are transforming how we interact with our devices. For instance, AI-driven task automation can help streamline multitasking, reduce resource-intensive bottlenecks, and even improve security by detecting anomalies in real time. Have you explored these AI-powered optimizations, and how have they impacted your daily productivity? I recently came across a detailed discussion on the Microsoft Tech Community regarding AI-enhanced productivity tools, and it made me rethink how I approach my workflow. With new software optimizations improving collaboration and remote accessibility, it’s worth exploring how AI-driven features can be better integrated into professional and personal tasks. What strategies or tools have you found most effective in optimizing your device for work? Looking forward to insights from the community!17Views0likes0CommentsWhich Teams to remove?
I had 3 types of Teams installed, I'm experiencing issues and confusion, so I want to get rid of the unneccesary bulk. Already removed Teams "personal". Now I have these two left. Classic is nearing end of life, right? So I assume the other one is the "new" Teams which I should keep? The dates shown here confuse me though. Did "classic" receive a recent update, while "Teams" did not? I work with both a private and changing business accounts (from clients I work for). Hi All, I am using Teams with a personal Microsoft account (Microsoft 365 family plan). I am successfully signed into Teams on my Mac computer and can use if with no problems. However, I cannot sign into the app with the account on the iphone app. After entering my password or going through Authenticator, I receive a message: No Teams orgs yet Looks like you're not using Teams yet. Check that you've been invited by the org you're trying to sign in to. You can also set up Teams for your org by selecting Create new account. I have already searched extensively but couldn't find any solutions that worked. Have uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple times. I am on am iphone 16 pro with the latest version of ios installed. Any ideas? Thanks.50Views0likes0CommentsIVR configuration in Microsoft teams - Configure Busy call message
Hi All, Please share your thoughts. I am currently working on Microsoft Teams IVR configuration for one of our customers. In my setup, I have a main Auto Attendant that transfers calls to either an English-speaking or Arabic-speaking Auto Attendant. Based on the menu selections, calls are then routed to an operator. Additionally, both Auto Attendants are configured with a "Dial by Extension" feature, allowing users to reach specific extensions directly. My question is regarding the busy message configuration. I have noticed that the Auto Attendant transfers a second call to a user's extension even when the user is already on an active call. Is there a configuration available to play a busy message, such as "The user is currently on another call. Please try again later"?10Views0likes0CommentsTeams calendar - add to a channel
Hi everyone, as far as it concerns the creation of a new event in the calendar of Teams, I'd like to know why it is possible to assign the event to a channel in the web version of the Calendar, while it is not possible to do the same in the app (the option doesn't appear at all). I must use Teams with the mobile app sometimes and I'd like to ask if there is a way to solve this issue.16Views0likes0CommentsUnable to sharing file from outlook to teams

Dear Community, Public Preview is enabled on an individual basis (i.e. everyone can choose for themselves via their Teams-settings whether to enable or disable Public Preview). On the desktop app this works perfectly fine and a lot of the preview features are highly appreciated. On the web application, on the other hand, the setting to turn on Public Preview is not available (i.e. it isn't displayed at all). According to my research, Public Preview should be available on the web as well. Our admin couldn't find any web-specific settings that might be responsible for the differences in availability between desktop and web. Does anyone have the same issue or know whether there are any specific settings to enable Public Preview for web as well? Or does anyone know of changes from Teams regarding the availability of Public Preview for web? Thank you for your help :)53Views0likes0CommentsHide Team options missing
Just tested the preview version of Teams since a lot of key users are struggling with the new interface. I noticed for myself that the "Hide Team" option is missing and that my Teams that were hidden are not hidden anymore. We are an organisation where users are a member of a lot of Teams and a key option for our organisation is to hide Teams that are less important so that your Teams where you are working in on a daily basis are always visible. Is this coming back or do you do this differently now?29Views0likes0CommentsChannel Meetings not showing in "Up next" (Meet app)
I've noticed that channel meetings seem to not be included in any "upcoming meetings" list. I would like to use the Meet-app inside Teams to get an overview of my upcoming meetings. Any personal or group meetings that have been scheduled without any channel-association are listed in the "Up next"-section. Unfortunately, as soon as a meeting is associated with a channel (i.e. channel meeting) it is not listed in the up-next-section. I really like the idea of having a place to get a quick overview of what's coming up - which is exactly what the meet-app seems to be designed for. But it becomes rather useless if only certain types of meetings are included. Is this a bug, or am I missing some important setting that would include channel meetings as well? I also noticed that the "recommended"-section on Microsoft 365 Home behaves in the same fashion. It recommends upcoming meetings, but only if they are not associated with a channel. If anyone has any idea, I'd appreciate the help :)11Views0likes0Comments
